Background:

Based in Ferndown, Dorset, the building didn’t have a natural gas mains supply. With nowhere suitable to position an LPG bulk storage tank, or an oil tank, the building contractor proposed installing electric variants of warm air heaters.

Solution:

Industrial Heaters installed four Powrmatic EUX30 30.0kW suspended electric unit heaters.

Result:

The 485m² work/storage space is kept at a comfortable temperature for staff and products. For phase 2, our customer is installing solar panels on the roof of the building as a means of running the electric heaters, massively reducing the running cost.
