Background:

Founded in 1978 and based in Dorset, our client has grown to become a manufacturing company with more than 500 employees, receiving numerous awards including “Company of the year, Dorset”. Industrial Heaters have been carrying out installation work for their new premises and carrying out maintenance to their existing premises since 2006.
During a recent maintenance visit it was found that a main component in one of their gas fired heaters  had failed, leaving the unit beyond economical repair.

Solution:

One of our surveyors visits site and specified a Winterwarm HR condensing factory heater as a replacement.The new Winterwarm factory heater was subsequently installed complete with a horizontal coaxial flue system. Control was provided by a Winterwarm Multitherm keypad operated timeclock and temperature controller.

Result:

The condensing Winterwarm HR high efficiency factory heaters are some of the most efficient available and are on the Government’s list of energy efficient appliances. Therefore the client was able to qualify for the enhanced capital allowance scheme, which is a Government initiative to encourage purchases of high efficiency equipment. This enables upfront tax relief so businesses can claim 100% of the cost in the first-year against their taxable profits. The Winterwarm Multitherm controller provides optimised start, frost protection and a pin facility to stop unauthorised use and energy wastage.
