Background:

Based in Ferndown, this client is a world leading manufacturer of Liquid Level and Flow Sensors, Pressure Transducers, High Voltage and Radio Frequency Relays.

Industrial Heaters have been maintaining the heating here since 2013 and have carried out various replacements. In 2020 it was decided to upgrade all offices and we were invited to tender for the installation of new air conditioning units.

Solution:

Our engineers installed 19 Mitsubishi single split air conditioning systems into a variety of different spaces throughout the building. The spaces ranged from large open offices, meeting rooms and canteen areas, to workshop and production shop floor.

Due to the size of the spaces and their application the units ranged from 3.5kW to 7.1kW output and from wall mounted unit to ceiling cassette units.

Result:

The main benefit to installing single splits is that each system is completely independent, allowing for different temperatures to be achieved in each area. Due to size and application, some areas were covered by more than one unit to ensure even distribution.
